Certified pre-owned and cosmetic blemished lifetime warranty
Subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations below, Staccato 2011, LLC guarantees its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) and Cosmetic Blemished (CB) pistols purchased directly from Staccato against defects in materials and workmanship that adversely affect their operation for the lifetime of the pistol.
This limited warranty excludes cosmetic imperfections, blemishes, or defects on the CPO or CB pistol, including the anodized frame coating, scratches, dents, discoloration, or other surface irregularities.
Staccato agrees to correct any covered defect for the original purchaser by repair, adjustment, or replacement, at Staccato’s option, with the same or comparable quality components, or by replacing the pistol.
This limited warranty is void if the pistol has been misused, damaged, fired with improper ammunition, fired with an obstruction in the barrel, damaged through failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, or if unauthorized repair or alteration has been performed, or if any other warranty void applies. It does not apply to normal wear and tear.
This warranty confers the right to have the covered pistol or its parts repaired, adjusted, or replaced exclusively upon the owner who purchased the CPO or CB pistol directly from Staccato. No implied warranties of any kind are made, and this warranty does not apply to accessory items. Staccato is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Staccato may modify or discontinue this limited warranty at any time.
Additional limitations
- The sole and exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of the CPO or CB pistol, at Staccato’s sole discretion.
- Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are expressly limited to one year from the original retail purchase, where permitted.
- Disclaimers and limitations of liability still apply if the limited remedy of repair and replacement fails of its essential purpose.
- Where permitted, Staccato assumes no liability for incidental or consequential damage or incidental expenses.
- Any action based on an alleged breach must be brought within one year of the claimed breach.
- This warranty does not extend the statute of limitations for product-liability actions or the effect of any statute of repose.
- Actions against Staccato based on an alleged breach are governed by Texas law, without regard to conflict-of-laws provisions, and must be brought in state court in Williamson County, Texas, or in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Return procedure
- Contact Staccato through the warranty claim page. A representative will help troubleshoot issues that may be remedied without a return, such as lubrication, cleaning, recoil-spring replacement, or ammunition-related issues.
- If the firearm should be returned, Staccato will generate an RMA and prepaid shipping label. Unless advised otherwise, include the complete firearm and the parts and magazines associated with firing it. Write the RMA number on the outside of the package and include a description of the issue. Unless advised otherwise, do not take the firearm to an FFL to ship it. Damage from improper packaging is not covered.
- Once received, Staccato will inspect and test-fire the firearm to verify the issue. Test fire includes a combination of 50 rounds of hollow points and full metal jacket.
- If Staccato cannot verify or duplicate the issue, the customer is responsible for range time, ammunition, and shipping, charged as a flat $150.
- An additional test fire can be requested at $50, including ammunition and labor. The second test fire will be videotaped and a copy returned with the firearm.
- If Staccato experiences a malfunction during test firing, the customer is not responsible for those charges.
Staccato reserves the right to change this policy at any time without notice.
