Warranty voids and limitations

The conditions that void the Staccato limited warranty, and the limits that apply to every claim.

Warranty voids

The Staccato limited warranty does not apply, and is void, when any of the following conditions are found on inspection.

  • The pistol has been misused, abused, or damaged.
  • The pistol has not been maintained as described in the product manual.
  • The pistol or any of its parts have been altered or modified from their original state, including cosmetic changes.
  • The pistol has fired remanufactured, reloaded, or handloaded ammunition, or ammunition that does not meet SAAMI, CIP, or NATO standards.
  • The grip has been modified, changed, removed, or replaced by anyone other than a Staccato Factory Certified Armorer.
  • The pistol has been fired with handloaded, reloaded, or improper ammunition. Open guns built for major power factor ammunition are excepted, but damage from overcharged, double-charged, or otherwise unsafe ammunition may still affect coverage.
  • Slides and sights: slide milling or optic plates from anyone other than a Staccato Factory Certified service.

Limitations

  • The warranty does not cover accessories attached to or used with the pistol, and no implied warranties are made.
  • Staccato is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
  • The sole and exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of the pistol, at Staccato’s discretion.
  • Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed.
  • The disclaimers and limits of liability still apply if repair or replacement fails of its essential purpose.
  • Any action based on an alleged breach must be brought within one year of the claimed breach.
