Frequently asked questions
Heroes and Blue Line Programs
Do you offer a discount or government pricing for active Law Enforcement Officers and agency purchases?
Yes. Individual officers can use the Blue Line Program (see the Heroes Program page). For agency pricing or a quote, contact your regional LE representative.
How can I contact my LE representative for my region?
Use the LE sales regional map, or reach out directly: Lenno Hendricks, (512) 529-9678, Lenno.hendricks@staccato2011.com; Richard Evans, (512) 508-7101, Rick.evans@staccato2011.com; John Ray (JR), (661) 673-6231, John.ray@staccato2011.com.
Does Staccato perform agency demos or provide pistols for testing and evaluation (T&E's)?
Yes. Your regional LE representative can set up an agency demo, and agencies can request a T&E pistol here: https://staccato2011.jotform.com/242620673931052.
What products are eligible for the discount or government pricing?
Blue Line and Heroes Program pricing covers pistols, magazines, and optic plates only. Other products and services are not eligible.
Do you offer a discount for Veterans, Active Military, retired Law Enforcement, and First Responders?
Yes, through the Heroes Program. See the Heroes Program page for details and verification.
I am active LE and live in a state that has a magazine restriction; how can I order magazines from Staccato?
Submit your law enforcement credentials through the Blue Line Program. Once you have your code, call (512) 819-0656 to order full-capacity magazines. Phone hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM CST.
Does Staccato offer training and support for transitioning from another handgun to Staccato?
Yes. For agencies that buy and issue Staccato handguns, the LE/government team offers a train-the-trainer transition course and an armorer’s course. Ask your regional LE representative, or contact the Director of Government Training, Randy Tweedy, at (737) 775-6148 or randy.tweedy@staccato2011.com.
Are there agencies that allow Staccato handguns to be carried on duty?
Yes. The department sales page lists agencies that allow Staccato handguns in a duty capacity.
Law Enforcement & Government
Does Staccato 2011 offer a finance program, and who does this apply to?
Yes, but only for an Agency Official Purchase Order with a minimum order quantity. Your LE Division Regional Manager has the details.
How many years does Staccato 2011 allow an Agency to extend payment terms?
Up to 3 FY budget cycles.
OIS Program
Does Staccato 2011 offer an OIS Program for Agencies & Individual Officers?
Yes.
What items are covered under this program?
Staccato temporarily replaces the agency’s or officer’s pistol with the most comparable model currently available. Optics, lights, and other accessories are not included with the loaner.
Who does this apply to/who is covered?
Law enforcement agencies that issue Staccato 2011 pistols, and individual law enforcement officers (must be a sworn officer).
How long does it take to receive the OIS Loaner pistol?
Approximately 5-7 business days.
How & when do I return the OIS Loaner Staccato?
Once the original pistol is released from evidence, notify your Staccato 2011 Regional Manager that you’re ready to return the loaner. Staccato provides a return shipping label.
Is there a fee to leverage this program?
Yes and no. Staccato 2011 runs an internal extended-term plan with no third-party bank, so each fiscal year the agency extends the loan reduces the initial program pricing. Your LE Division Regional Manager can explain the terms.
How do I leverage this program?
Either contact your LE Division Regional Manager, or call the Customer Experience Team at (512) 819-0656 and report the OIS incident. Complete the OIS Request Form (https://staccato2011.jotform.com/243057033164954), copy all of the information onto official agency letterhead, and email it to your Regional Manager.
